McKenna has been an awesome supportive cast member in the high school play of Grease. She is one of 4 middle school students participating this year in the play. Way to go guys! I am always impressed with what a great job these kids do each year with the play. It always turns out awesome!

Happy Easter!
Each year the city hosts an easter egg hunt at the park for the grade school kids. It's basically a free for all, no limit, eggs filled with money and candy all on the ground. This year McKenna helped set up for the hunt. Kimber and Addison loaded up with enough goods pass around with the rest of us!
The girls and I headed off to Kanab to visit Grandpa and Grandma Schmutz and then to Hurricane to spend the night and Easter Sunday with my sister Nancy and her family. Meanwhile Jeff and Garrett froze their little tail ends off in the spring snow storms while hunting turkey. Upon arriving home, the kids all hunted for their baskets, some having to look and little harder than others!

Addison's Birthday!
Pink cake, pink frosting, pink candles, pink animal crackers - hmmm - wonder what Addison's favorite color is?
Dad's girl. He starts 'em young. She is now an official scouter for wildlife!
Addison's birthday was April 4th. She turned 4 years old and had a ball. All she really wanted was a pretty princess dress with wings! Thank goodness Walmart read her mind and had a great stock of them! She is our wonderful little caboose and we enjoy all her antics. She keeps us laughing. We are grateful for her in our family and love her tons!

Anniversary
Wow! It has been a whole year since I was diagnosed with a tumor! So much has happened since then: shot my turkey, started my first job, got my tumor out, attempted to become an author (long shot I knowJ), became a Mia Maid, went to Lagoon, Disneyland, and Universal Studios (all for the first time), and got the cutest most energetic puppy. This tumor has impacted my life so much I would never be the same person without it. At first I didn’t believe that that could actually happen to me, but it has helped me grow so much. I wouldn’t take back my experiences that happened because of it ever, well maybe the stink of the hospitals and MRIs. I am enjoying ever moment of life and can’t wait to be in high school next year.
