This year's High School play was Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!
Not only is this a great play - it's one of McKenna's favorites and has been since she was 6! We even took her to it at Kingsbury Hall when she was 7. And when we moved to Panguitch and redid the floor in our kitchen she wrote with a marker "I LOVE DONNY OSMOND!" right where we stand when we cook at the stove. A constant reminder underfoot how much she loves this play!
When the announcement came that this would be this year's play - she knew in her heart of hearts that she was destined to be the narrator! With the drama department growing this year - they made the narrator into 3 parts and these three girls played the narrator: Lauren Smith, McKenna and Brenna Mooney.
Jacob and his sons:
Go go go go!
Pharaoh's in the house!
On another night these three made the narrative ensemble: Lauren Smith, McKenna and Rebecca Holbrook.
Raise your beret - to those Canaan days.
Really since we first became fans of this play I have loved the scriptural story. It is an amazing story of faith, forgiveness and standing for who you are. Great way to top off McKenna's high school acting career!
