State Track

May 18, 2014:

Jeff, Kimber and Leighton headed up to stay with grandma so they could go to State Track and watch Garrett.  One of Leighton's favorite things at grandma's is to dressed up and have a party!

State track turned out to be great for boy the Bobcat Boys and the Bobcat Girls.  Garrett qualified for 2 events:  Medley Relay 3:58:12 and 4x400 Relay 3:42:72.  He got his personal record in his lap for the 400 with a lap time of 56 seconds!  All year he had been consistently running at 58, so he really hit the track with a great personal record!

 And of course we really can't stop with the celebratory fireworks when they come into town now with a state title.

Not sure about the significance of the apple juice or if there even is any - but it was looking good between those two trophies!
