Leighton Lucinda

Little Leighton Lucinda was welcomed by her family at 8:43 pm on January 19, 2010! She weighed in at 7 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches long. We are so happy to finally meet her and know what an incredible daughter she will be. She must belong to us, she is a little stamp of all our other children. Mostly, we think she looks like Garrett. She must have know how to win his heart over even if she is a girl. We are truly grateful she is healthy and safely here at last. I have no doubt but what a loving Heavenly Father knew what he was doing by entrusting her care to us. It was a little difficult to accept that we were having another baby, but we are so grateful now to have her here. She is a beautiful blessing beyond measure!

This is the first time that the kids have all met their little sibling so soon after birth. Little Leighton is less that one hour old in this photo.

I think Grandpa Finch's face says it all - he is one pleased Grandparent!

Just Too Cute!

Sledding

The kids have been having fun snatching Jeff at calm times since Christmas and having him take them sledding. Garrett especially enjoys it.

The hike up the hill always makes going down worth the effort.

What's sledding without taking a bite of snow!

Two beautiful snow girls!

Bantum Basketball

One of these days, I am going to get a better camera. Garrett has been playing bantum basketball. He's the blurry one taking the shot, which he made. He played a great game and I am grateful for the coaches who put so much personal time into the youth in our area.
Garrett - white jersey, blue undershirt.

This game was quite a nail bitter and down to the last couple of seconds where Garrett's team made a final shot in just the last 5 or 6 seconds. As you can see by the score, that's all it took to put them over the top!
