Panguitch Petroglyphs

Jeff took the morning off from work and farm and went out exploring some petroyglyphs hidden only about 15 minutes away from our home. We had gone as a family earlier in the week, but had forgot the brand new camera (since lost camera has never found it's way home). Jeff headed out to get a few pics. I really think he was just looking for an excuse to get out of town and enjoy some of the last few warm days of fall!

Bath Fun and She's Crawling!

Leighton is really growing fast! She will be 8 months on the 19th of September. It's amazing to me how much these little people learn in the first year! We love her and love watching her grow and learn! Just ignore the background noise in the crawling video, the kids had just got home from school and were in the middle of eating lunch! Oh, in case you need some drool, we have plenty of it, come on over!

Back To School!

August 25, 2010 Ever the one to pose for the camera, McKenna is teaching Addison well. Thank heavens for Garrett and Kimber, a little bit more on the humble side! I can't believe that four are in school. If not for Leighton, I would be all alone this year! Thank goodness for her! I love having someone at home with me...at least for the next 5 years!

Addison found her name on the first day of Kindergarten! What a great start!

Kimber was soooo relieved to find out she is with the teacher she hoped for! I think her prayers were answered!

This is the only pic I got of Garrett as he entered the Middle School for his first day there. Darn, he wouldn't let me walk him to his home room! Sniff, Sniff!

Lauren, Sierra, and McKenna heading into the school. Whew! At least she still poses for a pic! They had to be there early to cheer on all the kids coming to school and get ready for an assembly.
OK, so I had to stay for the assembly as well!
McKenna is on the base of the middle pyramid on the right. They really looked great this year for the first assembly. They have done a great job with coming together!

Garfield County Carnival

The carnival came to town during the County Fair. It was a different carnival this year. A little more clean, well ran and better rides. We spent an afternoon (well maybe just a couple of hours) letting the kids ride. Can you spy Addison? She's hanging on for dear life on the other side of Kimber!

This pool was really fun for the kids. They had these paddle boats in it and they had water fights with sponges. Addison's face is one of pure enjoyment, please don't confuse it with terror. She was pitching those sponges to Garrett faster than you could say "Hello"!

Nothing better than cotton candy - that is until it's time to clean up!
