Random Little Laughs and Smiles

Addison will often hijack my camera and return it with a bazillion pics to scroll through. This one really made me smile!

Yes, Leighton fits right in - wanting her back scratched!
Gotta love the drool!
Memories of warmer days! Leighton didn't mind the grass a bit! Hope it carries over to this summer! It seems so many babies can't stand the feel of grass.
Learning to crawl up and down the stairs!

The other day McKenna went into the living room to find Kimber had taken her "spot" on "her" couch! McKenna's face tells it all - she was a little miffed.
Needless to say, Kimber is ever the easy going one of my kids and simply moved - before McKenna had a melt down. Again McKenna's face says it all - ahhhhhh, my spot, a good book, life is back to normal! Thanks Kimber for saving the day! After all, Kimber knows a good book is a good book no matter where you read!
So Leighton has this little head tip thing going on. We all try to get her to do it, but by far Garrett has the most success. She adores him, it's her little way of telling him that she is wrapped around his little finger!

Happy New Years!

I know this post is a little out of order, but I found out how to download pics of my Itouch and it really wasn't that hard! ~Thanks McKenna.
So for New Years every year, Panguitch holds a town party at the Triple C Arena. There is dinner, entertainment, games for the kids, and my personal fav - BINGO!
McKenna hanging out with two great friends - Frecia and Baylee: This year there were big blow up toys with unlimited access. Here the girls decided to take their turn (tumble) down the slide.
McKenna (so cool) {she told me to say that ~ though I do agree}, trying to see how far she can outrun a bungee cord strapped to her back.
Garrett getting a good laugh at watching McKenna being so cool.
Kimber and Kathleen waiting in line for the jump house.
They always haul in a big pile of wonderful dirt and hide money in it. Addison found a handful of dimes, pennies, nickles and a few quarters. Jeff and I decided that next year we are going to fill our pockets and hide a few more as the kids run out of treasure.

At first Leighton didn't know what to think of the dirt...

But it didn't take her long to figure out how to get in and get dirty!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

You've Had A Birthday - Shout HOORAY!

Leighton turned 1 year old this past Wednesday - January 19th! Kimber helped to kick off the day by spelling it out on the fridge. I was actually amazed that she could do it - not one letter repeated!

Since life is crazy now with everyone's different schedules - we actually celebrated on Sunday when everone was home at the same time without anywhere to rush off to. Leighton didn't mind a bit! McKenna helped initiate her into the heavy hangover game and helped her open the gifts. I was actually surprised that she sat on her lap while the pics were being taken. When she sees a camera - she's off and running to be the photographer, not the photographee (if that really a word).

Leighton had to have a little coaxing to really dive into her cake, but once she started...YUM!

We love you little Leighton! Happy Birthday!!!

Stomp

McKenna favorite cheer dance this year is Stomp. Starting out she is on the far right. They do a really great job! Enjoy!
