Panguitch XC

Garrett's cross country meet was in Panguitch.  He continues to amaze me!  Between 4 college courses, 1 AP course and his regular High School classes, he is involved in one sport each season.  And he pulls all of it off with flying colors!

Addison is getting ready for her 4th grade talent show next week and wanted to do what she loves!  So we put a few pictures together with a video and a song and presto!  She will download it and show it for her talent!  Just wish we could send it to McKenna!

Household Art?

Garrett was given an assignment in his Ed Net Art class to take a common household item and turn it into a piece of art.  He chose a deck of cards.  He first made a sphere and then decided to make it into a lamp!  Pretty awesome!

Welcome Neighbors!

September 6, 2014

Made a trip to Kodachrome today to welcome our new neighbors!  Nancy and Jon have moved - well half way moved - into their new residence at Kodachrome Basin State Park.  Jon is the new park manager and will live out there while Nancy will continue to live in Hurricane where their kids go to school.  It will be fun to have someone a little closer and in the same county!

First Days of School

The first day of school for these kiddos!  Addison is in Mr. Norris's 4th grade, Garrett is a Junior, Kimber is in 8th grade, and Leighton will be starting Preschool with Mrs. Owens soon!  

September 4, 2014:

I'm not sure whether to cry or celebrate.  After 19 1/2 years of little people at home...Leighton started preschool with Mrs. Owens!  I'm thinking chocolate is a good compromise...Yep, definitely chocolate should help!

Mission Review - August 2014

In August McKenna said goodbye to the Spain CCM and entered the field in the city of Alcala de Henares - 34 km (21 miles) east of Madrid.

Mission Review - July 2014

July was a month full of learning and loving her CCM family for McKenna.  Her CCM President - President Kenneth Lovell was great about posting pictures every week on Facebook!  Hooray!  More pics of Hermana Finch!

Every Saturday the CCM Missionaries go to Centro De Retiro (aka Spain's Central Park) to proselyte.  McKenna has loved this experience!
