Mission Review - August 2014

In August McKenna said goodbye to the Spain CCM and entered the field in the city of Alcala de Henares - 34 km (21 miles) east of Madrid.

Last singing on the temple steps.

What a great picture with the temple in the background!

President and Sister Lovell:

What I imagine they look like studying - all day long!

Not!  I am sure there is a whole lot of laughter involved with these missionaries!

The missionaries that will be transferred into the field with McKenna.

View of Madrid from McKenna's room at the CCM.

One of the letters from McKenna while she was in the CCM.  Loved how it came addressed!

While on facebook one day - I found that McKenna had been tagged in a picture!  Yeah!

McKenna meeting with the Spain, Madrid mission president and wife - President Scott and Hermana Ruth Jackson.

McKenna and Sister Coburn - first companion in the field!

Touring Alcala de Henares:

Queen Isabella's castle.  This is where Christopher Columbus asked for permission to sail to the America's.

McKenna's first baptism:

Just before the baptism started.  Glad she enjoys her companion!
