Summer Fun!

About a month ago we had a surprise visit from my nephew Sam and his wife Heather and their family!  Jeff saddled up the horses for a ride.  Adalee got a boost and reassuring word from her folks.
I think this little guy is the only one who didn't have any reserved about riding - he would roar and give bud knuckles.
Kaden enjoyed the ride with his mom up and down the lane.  Too bad we didn't have more time with them - it was great to see them!
The 4th of July passed on a rainy note - but not before getting in a few of our fireworks!
The month of July in Panguitch was a wet one!  I don't know when I have seen so much rain here!

The 24th of July - celebrated on the 23rd - was wonderful!  Addison had gone to a week long Jr. Cheer camp hosted by the PHS cheerleaders.  Addison is on the far right of the 3 girls standing up.  She cheered the whole way!  She even managed to grab a few snacks being thrown out.  The kids in Panguitch bring a grocery sac for their goodies at the parade - really - there is that much candy, otter pops, etc that is thrown out!
McKenna - happy to cheer - happy to almost be done with the parade!  I followed her for a couple of blocks just to see their dance.  It was worth the effort - she is a cute one!
Addison loved gathering the candy and promptly putting it in her mouth - wrapper and all!  Kimber was helping her load up - bringer her to the best dumping spots along the parade route!
We invited a grandpa and his grandson from Alberta Canada to watch the parade with us after they had stopped and asked us what was going on just before the parade started.  The grandson was 16 and I enjoyed watching him get out there with the best of the little kids who followed behind the fire engine!  They were impressed that such a small town celebrated with so much style!
Leighton had been having fun jumping on the tramp and then Addison started doing flips and hanging upside down from the tramp springs.  This was Leighton's way to follow in big sisters footsteps.  I thought her pretty inventive until Jeff and McKenna laughed that she was pole dancing!  Mmmm - hope it's not a future premonition!
