One of the things about being a nurse is you never know what to expect from your kids. I was sleeping this morning and woke to find Leighton had taken care of her "sick" animals with many bandaids! Love it! Later that evening a friend delivered some roses from an anonymous patient that had said he had so appreciated the care I had given him the previous night. Wow - and a day later his wife dropped off a caramel apple for the same reason. I bet they both had no idea what the other had done - they are just that way - quiet, generous and grateful! Thank You!
