Back into the school swing of things, projects are getting completed and ideas are being formed. It lookes like the lazy days of summer have been replaced by school days!

McKenna had to design a creative human cell and label all the parts. She made it out of a cake with a peach nucleus, spaghetti endoplasmic reticulum and kidney bean mitochonria and a host of other edible landmarks.

Once in a while Jeff will bring home dry ice used in packing at the lab. Garrett found that by adding just a drop of dishsoap to the dry ice and some water he could make mega bubbles that when popped released a cloud of smoke. Mmmm, science project coming up in November... have to remember this one!
