Absolutely one of the best weekends all year long! We love the Balloon Festival here in Panguitch and love all that it brings to our small community! This year was no different! I love the early mornings with balloons and breakfast outside while watching them.
This year Kimber participated in her first 5K. And she rocked it for having just started running! She came in around near the middle of the girls. Much better than she was thinking she'd do! And she had great support from the runners themselves who kept encouraging her and from her brother on the sidelines!

How cool is that - to cross the finish line with a balloon that had landed in the middle of the field!
Some of the balloonists are just so awesome! This man and his crew stayed in the middle of the field taking the kids up and down in his balloon and giving as many as wanted a turn. Addy and Leighton were happy to oblige. Kimber didn't think it sounded like a sane idea and Garrett had already left so these 2 were the lucky ones!
Kimber wanted to leave just as they were announcing the winners, but I said lets stay just for the drawings. Well, good thing we did as her name was the first one drawn out! Ha! She picked up this great water bottle! We are so proud of this young lady and her ability to become more than she thought was possible!
The next day, the kids enjoyed all the fun in the middle of town. Nancy, Grant and Marissa joined us for the day and we loved having them play!
And the crowning event... the balloon glow!
