Jonathan Heaton Reunion - Day #3 - Kanab

July 25, 2015

The last day for the Jonathan Heaton Reunion was held in Kanab with a special showing of the movie "Plow A Straight Furrow" about Jonathan Heaton's life.

The rest of the activities were held at the Stake Center on Main Street.

Pinkie had his model homes and historic sites on display at the Stake Center and there were areas where the kids could make a necklace or a colored sand bottle.

There was also a huge map for everyone to mark their missionaries and military service areas.

And right there in my own back yard is a wagon of my Grandpa Gilbert Heaton's.  Not sure if it was originally Jonathan's.  One of my siblings would probably know.

Lunch with the cousins and siblings!  It was an incredible reunion and one that probably won't happen again for many, many years if at all.  How grateful I am for this opportunity it gave all of us to find out who belongs to such a wonderful family and heritage.
