According to the internet, this Super Moon was totally incredible for a few reasons:
It was a Blood Moon with it's rusty red appearance,
It occurred at the closest point on it's orbit around Earth (perigee),
It was a Harvest Moon, the full moon closest to the Autumn Exquinox
It was visible across North America, South America, Europe, West Asia, and parts of Africa
There was also a total lunar eclipse.
Pretty cool if you ask me!
